Word association game (one's I was inspired by):
GET MAKING!! Don't hold back.
I wanted to make something beautiful as well as functional (even multifuncational!).
I experimented with scrap wood and then stepped into using my real things!
I was terrified at the start of making mistakes, but stepped boldly past that and dived right into getting messy and creative.
It was a wild afternoon of learning, being inspired and seeing what creative sparks were unleashed from inside me!
Best Lessons from today:
Beauty in the making and the shaking off of fear,
Holding onto love and making things fun and clear.
Not worrying about what others think, or not doing it 'well'.
Realising "I'm creative" even if at the time I can't tell...
Taking time to plan and remembering the teacher's tips!
Holding onto the wood so nothing gets nastily nipped!
Embracing imperfection and mistakes, yet reaching for gold.
Not holding back with worry but being really bold.
Talking out ideas and watching those grow,
Being inspired by others and what they have to show.
The process it the beauty, as well as the end result.
It's about the finest details as well as using the wood, metal and machinery bolts!

Best Lessons from today:
- THINK FIRST BUT GET MAKING QUICKLY TOO!
- Sketch out plan.
- Apply myself to work well, hard, and accurately, realsing that mistakes will happen but not to fear them as they can bring some of the most beautiful results.
